Handcrafted by the specialized workshop Genrinbo, this elegant, wall-mounted Kamidana (miniature Shinto altar) doubles as an Ofuda (sacred Shinto amulet) holder. Designed to blend seamlessly with both modern Western interiors and traditional Japanese-style rooms, it provides a warm and respectful space to display your sacred amulets.

Artisanal Bamboo & Cedar Construction

This piece is made using Suruga Take-sensuji Zaiku, a traditional bamboo craft technique native to Shizuoka. The artisan forms a depiction of Mount Fuji by precisely threading delicate, rounded bamboo splints (maru-takehigo) through a finely shaped bamboo frame. The base and backing are crafted from Japanese cedar (Sugi), known for its light weight and beautiful grain.

To preserve the natural warmth and unique texture of the wood, the piece is finished with a natural, plant-based oil that leaves no artificial surface film.
