The Oranda Shishigashira Motif
This specific wind chime features the Oranda Shishigashira, a beloved breed of goldfish characterized by its distinctive prominent head. The artisan meticulously crafts the goldfish using a custom-blended glass formulation. This achieves a delicate, translucent milky-white base and vivid scarlet-red hues that capture the elegant grace of the fish as it appears to swim in the sky.
Delicate Craftsmanship
The outer glass casing is cleverly sculpted to resemble a water-filled plastic pouch, just like the ones used to carry goldfish home from festival stalls. Every detail is carefully adjusted during assembly so that the internal goldfish moves naturally in the breeze without colliding harshly against the outer pouch, producing a gentle, soothing sound.
